Just dull really, nothing to see. ;)

Just a bit of fun. Anyone care to try and ID all the visible types? Mark nos get extra points. I reckon there's at least 14 different types (including a couple of multiples) in there.

No comments on the beard.

Wow, what an exciting shot! Looks like alot of fun.

I can pick out some of the easy ones... Hudson, Spit, P-40, Texan, Beech, Tigermoth...

I look forward to more pics. 8)

It was. Great weekend.

Heh, not quite as easy as you might think...

No Beech there...

Can you spot the 'American trainer' that isn't, and the American trainer that sounds different depending on which side you are on?

At least two of the Tigers aren't.

DH-82A/B, DH-87? or DH-89, maybe a DH-60, 2 x Austers, Hudson, Lockheed 14?, 2 x Spitfire Mk IX, 2 x Wirraway, 1 x de Havilland Minor, 1 x CAC Boomerang, 1 x PT-22, 1 x Harbard/AT-6, 1 x P-40.

Am I close?

And you're right.... looks like it was a sleepy show... ;)

Cheers,

David

No DH-89 in the pic, nor DH-60s; more than two Austers, but good call. Hudson, yes, no model 14 or Beech. Seems a tough one that! No Spitfire Mk.IXs at all, but you are close, they are two 'not-quite IXs' there...

One Wirraway (the American trainer that isn't) one PT-22 (sounds different from each side) and two Harvards.

Pretty good. Still missing a DH though!

James,

is it a de Havilland Minor?

The White and Red tail is also baffling me. I wanted to say Stinson Gullwing, but it isn't. Umm...

Nope. Think closer to home. ;)

BTW, you are correct with DH-87B.

I'm an idiot... thank you for the obvious hint. DHC-1.

Oh, did I get the Boomerang?

A Lockheed -10 (or perhaps a -12?)
