Phone Sex from Chino

Sun Apr 27, 2008 7:04 pm

Anyone at Chino catch the Lodestar taking off yesterday? I got a call from Aubie P., he asked if I wanted to hear somthing really cool....me..of course...I was expecting a dirty joke....instead I heard him counting blades and calling fuel and ignition while cranking up the Pratt & Whitney...Yes it was cool!

This is the same Lodestar that was auctioned at Greybull...Aubie flew it to Chino a few weeks ago, and seems it is heading for Ore. and back to Chino..

I would sure like to see some pictures of this aircraft...

I don't think that one has P&Ws.

Dave, I am not sure...last I knew was that this lodestar was at Gainsville, Tx...I had talked to the owner last year via-Trade-A-Plane, he had it out in Ok., and Tx for paint and interior work before placing up for sale...Last photos I have seen of this aircraft was when it was still at Greybull....
