"Red 7" damaged again

Tue Apr 15, 2008 11:05 pm

A gear up landing this time, apparently on its' first test flight after rebuild from 2005's accident. More on the Flypast Forum. This must be very discouraging, let's hope it's not too severe.

Personal opinion...
Anybody restoring an aircraft has the deepest fear of this happening.

If somebody posts a link to their org. I will send them a modest donation to start getting her back in the air again!

the only good thing is that it had a wooden prop, so if it has angine damage, it should be minor. Sheet metal can be repaired.

One thing, it prob was the only landing he will ever do in a 109 that it actually stayed straight and did not try to swap ends.
