Are those built from original parts? Or are they fiberglass?

I believe this was done by John Muszala's Pacific Fighters soon after there relocation to Idaho. The TBM is from a bunch of TBM parts they acquired. The Mustang is fiberglass.

If I had the money and wherewithall, I'd open up a bar and have similar decor. That's some truckstop!

You're right Rich...the Mustang is all fiberglass, and the Avenger is a composite of the real deal! Pretty cool! I tried to get the female attendent to pose, but no dice!!

how did you happen on this place?? i try to avoid truck stops like the plague!! you must have been pleasantly surprised. i always dreamed of owning a bar in that theme as well.

Ditto Rich.....I was there getting fuel, and was really supprised when I went in to pay...had to go back and get the camera.....this truckstop is on highwat 92 on north side of town...

There used to be a restaurant in Irvine, CA with a Stearman hung inverted above the bar. It got its revenge though as it would drip a drop of oil on a customer every once in a while. Don

Anybody around the Denver area remember the Convair 880 that used to be a restaurant? I believe it was north of Den...around Erie....Longmont ...I stumbled across it 1993-94...was closed then
