11th Annual Mustangs/Mustangs (pics)

Mon Apr 07, 2008 8:32 am

Fantasy of Flight held their 11th annual Mustangs and Mustangs event
Saturday, April 5, 2008. Hundreds of Ford Mustangs and 4 P-51s this year.
Kermit flew both his P-51s and his Grumman Duck while I was there.
Some pics below.

For just 14K and you provide the car, one company will convert you vehicle into this. Nose art included.

Nice pictures Bill. Thanks for sharing. I'd love to attend that show. My dad has a 71 Boss 351 and I'd like to get its picture taken with a P-51.

I belive the Ford P-51 was modified by Roush.

Nope. That's not a Roush P-51A Ford Mustang, I'm not sure who created it though. :vom:

This is a Roush P-51A:

Where are the Duck pics? All I see is some funny lookin' blingplanes?! :D

Duck pics please! You know it makes sense. So much more versatile than a blingplane.

The company behind the above Ford Mustang modification is North American Tuning LLC.

Ok James, cue the Duck.

But you gotta enjoy watching all takeoffs from a grass strip.

Ah, OK. I never heard about them. Pretty neat that buyers have their choice of two different Ford P-51 conversions...
