Well you hooked me too! By the way Tom, my father was stationed on Canton Island when Rickenbacker was supposed to land there. He never made it. Dad was in charge of the Propeller barn (his squadron was flying p-39 p-400's). Canton was an atoll with only one tree on it. Dad said the only exceitment was that a japanese submarine would periodicly bombard the place.
