This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

We've replaced the fodded engine. Engine cal and burner runs are complete. We'll refit the seats in a few days. A small amount of sheetmetal housekeeping is almost complete, and we have a pitot/static/encoder signoff to do.
If everything goes smoothly, we hope to fly in April.

But, for those of you who want to come out and see the new paint on the F-4 we'll have everything out next week. The Wings of freedom tour comes to Ellington on the afternoon of 3-26 thru 3-28. Along with the B-17, B-24, B-25, the TP-51C will be available for rides as will the UH-1E Huey.
We will have the F-4, TA-4, T-33, and S-2 out as well. Who knows, there may be something else drop in.
If you can't make Ellington, we'll be moving the bombers and the Huey to Hooks on Friday afternoon and they will be there thru Sunday.

I was trying to get the photos you shot during the Breitling deal and other shots we had taken after the paint change.
Email them to me and I'll see if I can get 'em on here via my photobucket.

Now, now, Phantom Ace, let's not jump to any wild conclusions. I meant that their are other warbird owners in the Houston area who might bring something over to display.
Not every stop can have a new CF aircraft join the tour !

No Breitling photos have been spotted at my house yet, but here are some of the new paint job. The paint was a day old at this point.
