This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I am getting tired of seeing the enemy aircraft suddenly become uncontrollable and "death spiral" right after being hit on the show. I was watching the "P-51" episode and couldn't help but see the bias. Love the show thou. Anything that gets my son into warbirds in fine by me.
Just my two cents.

Agreed. Some of the vets feel it is a bit over the top in the animation; Some details were left out; But a good basis for recorded history of the event.
Nice to see them in person on the show as living history participants.

Too bad we'll never see season 3 of Dogfights, as it has been canceled.

Just wonder if Gen. Robin Olds was still alive, what crazy tales he still had to tell.

I never get tired of watching. I don't care what airplane they're "idolizing".
I would, however, like to see a lot more P-38s in action. I can't believe there aren't enough dogfights involving the P-38 that they can't come up with a few. Could be there aren't enough of the "Greatest Generation" left to tell the P-38 stories.
Come to think of it, couldn't they get enough info. from the "de-briefing" reports to give them an outline that they could flesh out with the manuevering graphics that they use? OH well...wishful thinking.

Geez Cat...Do you think there were ANY stories left that he hadn't told?

I too am bummed out by the cancelation. It was a great show and NOW is the time to keep recording these stories before it is too late!

It looked like they reused the animation over and over again in different senarios. That and current aviators (unless it's just a guy in a flight suit?)being interviewed about a guy from a different service seemed sorta weird.

My favorite episode was the P-47s. I thought the dogfights were some of the better ones and the graphics were excellent. My feeling is I like the episodes where they tell two or three different stories as opposed to dragging out one story for the whole show.
