This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

My first link I've ever posted here. Now H-Whoeverthehell can defend himself by attacking me for posting this
and lay off Digger.
Don't bring up disabilities here. It's no excuses for being a jerk and would be insulting to a disabled person.
I challenge anyone NOT to be moved by this.

Jack Cook - your insulting people with disabilites by making your statement as such.
Wait til you get a stuffed up body at a young age and see how YOU like it .. i dont.
You should retract your comment.

No,
My wife, who really is disabled, looked at your thread and found it childist and embarassing. I accept her expert viewpoint.

Jack what a wonderful tribute to veterans everywhere! Although this was for and about American Vets, it can be applied to all Allied Veterans. I don't mind saying I laughed at the one upmanship of the two fellows at first but was then sad when the army vet had passed away. His "friend" paid a very nive tribute to him with the flag raised then lowered to half mast and a salute to him as well. Very Humbling!
If you have a chance Thank a Veteran, it takes only seconds to do....

Well obviously you and your wife have no idea of what people with disability have to deal with then do you!
Try living with a hearing loss - guess what you cant do most jobs oh no who cares you say!. Combine on top titntiuis contuitous ringing of ears and you cant focus on anythign easy. Try working and it becomes a mental torture.
Try walking far when you have stuffed legs and knees.. who cares you say!
Try reading or driving with bad vision - who cares you say!
I have arthitis also now developing. who cares you say!
None of those affect you - your full of crap Jack.
Try coping when your all of these problems surge thru ur body at once and then come back you rude poster and say life is easy it aint.
Your wife and you obviously dont have disabilites that stop you well YOUR lucky ... i know ALOT of people like me and we areent lucky.
You are childish and immature for making racially discriminating comments.

Yup, that's what I was thinking when they had to amputate her left leg and I watched over her in ICU for 3 weeks. I know a bit more on this subject than you think I do. This is my last post on this subject has it's not appropiate for this forum.

I agree with Peter on this one. HGUCSU's comments are uncalled for and represent a personal attack on Jack. Not a nice thing to do.......

Your 100% correct Peter and that's why I stopped. Someone throwing the disability thing around tends to get me seeing red. I know there is another fellow on this board from Texas who is a double amputee who flies corporate and also L-39s I believe. That's amazing stuff!!

Jack great video, Don't let this guy or girl bait you into a argument, seems he is starved for attention.
Keep up with the historical photo's, I for one enjoy seeing them.
Cheers Dave C

All i can say you people disgust me with your smug attitudes towards anyone with a disability - big or small.
Hope you all suffer and then see then what it is like!
Lets see how far you go at a airshow when you cant walk around by yourself anymore or struggle to hear a aircraft sound.
