More scans from the photoalbum

These are of NA-16

Differences to eventual production wirra were the fixed u/c and two bladed prop (instead of 3) nice to see the birdcage on gunners hood too! :D

Nice to see. This was the North American Aviation built NA-16 aircraft, one of two, the other with retractable gear / undercarriage. Note also the different windscreen to the CAC production Wirraways.

Off the cuff, I don't recognise them from he CAC archives, presumably private photos rather than private prints.

Thanks for sharing.

Very much unpublished and private photos. From what I can see in this photo album he went to Canada and the US and must have been involved somehow with CAC/DAP as there are photos in this album of THE RAAF Hurricane, the first aussie Beaufort, The wirra, Ansons etc :D

Excellent. Any captions or documentation? Could be of interest for publication too. PM me if you'd like to discuss.

Unfortunately there are no captions on these and his photo album is mixed all over the place...some photos pasted almost over others.
