A-12 symposium

Sat Mar 08, 2008 12:25 am

Gentlemen,
I am solicing opinions. Please let me know your thoughts
and ideas.

IF a symposium was held of A-12 Blackbird pilots how many
folks would be interested? If these CIA pilots could talk about
their missions in the '60s how many people would want to attend?
Some material was only declassified in 2007 so this would be the
first opportunity to discuss things with these men.

IF a print was made available at such a symposium signed by
both the artist, the pilots, and perhaps the support personel who
would be interested?

PLEASE, let me know your thoughts and opinions.

Blue skies,
Owen Miller

i'm writing a magazine article about brigadier general robert j. holbury, who was the 1st commander of groom lake / area 51 from it's beginning in the early 60's. holbury worked closely with kelly johnson, general thomas powers, & many c.i.a. bigshots. holbury pretty much wrote the recon doctrine that prevails today. i'm in!!

I don't think Owen is for sale. :D

That sounds like a pretty neat idea.

It would sell as an article for those who couldn't be there after the event, too, I suspect.

Good idea.

Owen, I would be interested.

If you're in aviation, you're for sale. The only thing undecided is your price-and we're all standing on the corner.................
