P-47N survivors

Fri Mar 07, 2008 10:41 pm

Recently I've been in correspondence with a college chum of my dad's who flew P-40's and P-47N's in the Pacific.
How many airworthy 47N's are there? I know of one in nat. metal with yellow/black checkerboard cowl.

That P-47 doesn't look to have N wings? :?:

The current edition of Flypast states the Airworthy P-47N, in the registry, as a D model and that the only airworthy N model will be the CAF's once finished.
