Brewster Buffalo in Finland!!

Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:15 am

To mark the 90th anniversary of the Finnish Air Force, the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida, has loaned the sole surviving example of Brewster 239 to the Aviation Museum of Central Finland (aka Finnish Air Force Museum) for a period of 3,5 years. The aircraft, Finnish AF serial BW-372, arrived in Finland last week, and will be introduced to the media today, March 6th, which is the official Air Force Day in Finland.

Great news for us Finns, and a wonderful gesture by the people in Pensacola!
