This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Under a veil of secrecy however, I'm not sure if photos are possible.

I'm with Tom on this one.
HGUCSU doesn't deserve all the treatment he is getting. I don't mind his posts and feel some of the comments directed at him are a bit much.
If there's anyone that doesn't appreciate his posts, please just ignore them. Pass over them and carry onto threads that you feel have more substance.
End of comment.

I disagree entirely. I think he deserves everything he is getting. You guys aren't seeing the entire story because a lot of his threads and responses are deleted before the vast majority of people see them. Since he is from Australia, he posts in the middle of the night by USA time - early in the morning prior to most of the Wix forum seeing his comments. Since I'm a night owl, I've seen several of his posts that were only allowed to stay on for a few hours. The Mods usually delete them prior to the morning people getting up and reading the WIX. If you had seen the posts I've seen, you would have seen a tremendously hostile and disrespectful attitude toward several members of this forum. On one of his posts that was deleted, he even made a racial/ethnic slur.
Now, do you still feel the way you do?

So, bdk, you apparently see the ex-Lone Star's A-20, that is in enroute to Aero Trader. Is this supposed to be a secret?
Did it fly in, or was it trucked in? Do you know how long it will be there before it leaves for Down Under?

Under the threat of great bodily harm, one of my insurgent scouting team was able to provide the following intelligence:
For my safety and the safety of the team, please do not discuss this matter with anyone...
This photo will self-destruct in 15 seconds.

As much as I hate to see such a rare bird (and one of my faves) leave The States, I hope her new owners are planning to put her back in the air (adding the turret and guns would be cool, too!)

I find it amazing how the powers that be in the United States can authorize the export of the A-20 while at the same time are getting hung up on the export of the Spitfire. The A-20 is far more an American machine of war than the Spitfire ever could be, and if I'm not mistaken is capable of carrying much more firepower.
