Looks like the need some cash and have redifined the focus of the collection.
They're starting to get rid of the "fringe" aircraft, as they relate to history.

Sad, but good for those of us who like to see them fly!

Don't recall ever seeing a pneumatic tailwheel on a Bearcat before.

I think I remember hearing from someone within the Zoo that these are the 'cats that don't have as much of a significant mark in history. Let's just hope the Bear and the Tiger return to their element!

Perhaps they will sell the FG? :D

One more airborne Airacobra would be pretty slick.

They would have to buy it before they could sell it!

Sell the Hellcat!

This is sad. We are seeing a first class aviation museum basically selling off what made them famous. Very sad indeed. Where are you going to go other than Pensacola and see all of the grumman cats parked together? Have fun trying to see that Tigercat when it is in someone's private hangar, and they don't wish to let you in.

This museum isn't about the Grumman 'Cats. The Bear and Tiger are awesome airplanes, but their role in U.S. Naval Aviation is rather slim, as compared to the Hellcat, Corsair, ect.
