Sticky Situation

I wonder if we could ask the few of you that post so many photos and links if it would be a better idea to have your own dedicated "sticky" ... I love the few "stickys" we have already, and there so easy to look at from time to time. ... I don't know about the rest of you, but I just can't keep up with all the good threads, because they disappear so fast. I'm just lazy I guess, because if I don't see a thread on the first page, I just forget about it and move on. I haven't posted in a while because so many great conversations seem to disappear so fast. Understand that I'm not really complaining per say, I'm just wondering if it would be better for all of us. Don't get me wrong, I love the photos and links, but it just seems it would be so much better if we all could check your own dedicated "sticky's" as opposed to so many new posts. Just a thought from a simple guy. What do the rest here think? ... Is there a better way, or am I missing something here?

Oops! ... just noticed the new "movie theater" Scott has created, ... a great start I would say. Keep the movies and photos coming, just organize them possibly in one location? ... again, just a thought.

PS, I have a new "avatar" ... am I going to get in trouble from the guys at the CAF? ... I'll change it if I am offending anyone. I just like the photo.

Man, you hit a nerve with this one. I think the same. Sometimes I enter WIX and say "Hey, lot’s of good and interesting things to read" only to conclude that "Nah, bunch of links only". And yes, I really miss some interesting posts when there are so many. And when there are so many, I really think that members simply just won’t bother answering some that really matter.

So, someone at WIX might say, just don’t open them. That’s what I’m doing. Again, the NEW POST icons sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t and by this I do miss things.

Another day I remembered someone posting a good thing, but I couldn’t remember the title very well or it’s content. So I had to navigate through 6 pages just to find it. And it was a recent post. I had a comment to do, but I thought that it would be considered a BUMP post since it was located in the sixth page. Well, I let it pass and kept the comment to myself.

Maybe a sticky post would resolve this, but what I think is that people should have some good sense before posting. Imagine if I posted a bunch of Airliners.net links here? My post count would go sky high and by this time I would be a "Air King Commander-Top of The World-Lord Of Who Knows What" and without the MVP associated with that. So if I want to get some respect from other WIX members, I refrain myself in doing that. Quantity doesn’t translate to quality too.
