A Blast From The Past

Me after getting a ride from Franz Stigler in his ME-108 (Nord).
I believe it was wrecked and ended up in Australia and is being rebuilt. Anybody know for sure????

Is this the same type of aircraft that was used in the movie "The Great Escape" where actor James Garner flew a blind passenger and fellow escapee?

What type engine did it have? Renault, Argus, or Lycoming?

It has (or had) a French Renault motor.
