From the Jan 06 issue of the NATA magazine Skylines: In Vietnam in the first 6 months of 1963-64, of 80 T-28 pilots in one group, 440th CCTS, 13 were shot down. That's a pretty grim loss rate of 16 %,though not on any one missson. The only one rescued was Tom Schornakas whose shoot down is in a book, ANY TIME ANY PLACE, by Phillip Chinnery.
