Vietnam F-4 Phantom Kills...

I was reading on Wikipedia about F-4s. When talking about the kills by the USAF, the tally is:
50 by Sparrow
31 by Sidewinder
5 by Falcon
15.5 by Gun
and 6 by Other Means
What does "Other Means" refer to? Would it be special test missiles? Were there any "ramming" of aircraft like in WWII?

LCDR Ted Schwartz in a A-4 with a Zuni rocket. He was taken to task by his fellow pilots over this because he made it known that he came to Nam to kill a MIG. He was known to save his rockets, instead of using them on the briefed targets, for his MIG quest

LCDR Schwartz' A-4 has forever been enshrined in the National Air and Space Museum-Downtown.
Sabredriver's new charge is painted to duplicate Schwartz' aircraft though they carry different modex numbers.

LCDR Schwartz' A-4 has forever been enshrined in the National Air and Space Museum-Downtown.
The NASM A-4 is 148314 NP 681 CDR FULLER

Wikipedia has some interesting info on F-4 kills http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-4_Phantom_II listing 5 as "Maneuvering Tactics" (bad guy flew into the ground?, over G'd the plane and it came apart?) and 1 combined gun/AIM-9. The F-4 in the Cavanaugh collection has a MiG-21 kill

You're right of course , Jack. Though I could have sworn that I saw the kill mark on the Smithsonian A-4.

I'm really surprised that more kills were made with the Sparrow vs the Sidewinder. Given the rules of engagement and the fact that the 'winder was a more reliable missile, this is news to me! I would have thought it was the other way around.

The one in the NMUSAF is the mount of Robin Olds. He was in it when he shot down two migs in one day.

Don't forget about 554. The Museum's other Mig killing Phantom that just recently transferred.
