According to the Hans-Heiri Stapfer book, this aircraft was B-24H-5-DT 41-28641 flown by Lt. John R. Turner. The aircraft was used in 1944 by KG 200 from airfields near Vienna for supply missions to the Island of Rhodes. It was recaptured near Salzburg in May 1945.

Well, as per our discussion on another thread...By looking at the angle and high altitude of the tail, the nosegear is collapsed, broken, or whatever. This would make it a good guess that the "back is broken" on the airplane as well. But that's just a guess.
It would be interesting to see another view of this bird.

KG200 had problems with the B-24 because the Liberators don't like grass strips too much. It's quite likely that they tried it and broke up the nose gear.
