Any idea what happened here, distracted goose?

Just a question, long ago I read that Yeager tested the 262 and roughly ten year's later the Shooting star and there flight performance's were very much the same which puzzeled me a the time, was it true

, Interesting plane the Star

, But I still prefer the 262s look's any day

, Cheer's all,

I'd like to see one in person so I can see how well I like it, but the nearest one is nearly 800 miles away.
I do like the T-33 series though. I'd love to see the P-80 some day too. I'll have to dig through my files, I know I have photos of a T-33 in a Thunderbirds paint scheme, taken at Holman field back in the 1990s, I'll try and scan a shot or two of it tomorrow.

I posted some of the F80 photos on the Flypast Forum.
Here's one of some early all gray P80s in 1947. Also one of the pilots of the 12th TRS in 1948 with their RF80As

Hi Dan,
Is the ex- Canuck bird taken at Oshkosh this year? If so it's the one I got a look over - v. v. nice inside too.
Cheers

Here are a few that I would like to ID. These two shots were taken at the Grissom Air Park in July 1996...
And I got this shot at the Valiant Air Command Museum in June 1998...
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
TIA
Regards,
Mike

I snapped the photos of the CT-133 last year at Flying Cloud. I didn't make it out to Oshkosh so I have no idea if it's the same bird, but it wouldn't surprise me as it is based in Milwaukee, WI.

Eric
have you got any shots of the TBM in the background behind the red T-33 you'd like to post up--please.
Looks interesting.
Cheers

Up until the 1980s there was an F-80 at the entrance to the Montgomery County (Maryland) Airpark (GAI). It's gone now. Anyone have any idea where the plane disappeared off to?

Here are a few shots of the T-33 in the Tunderbirds scheme from Holman Field in St. Paul, Minnesota in August of 1992. My appologies for the quality, I was only 10 years old when I shot these with a fixed focus camera. In the original photos, a Rolls Royce sticker is visible so I suspect this is actually a CT-133.
