Not too bad, but I'm kind of partial to this one:

I always thought Glenn Eagleston's was righteous.

I know it is pretty subjective, but I would like to offer this photo by Ola Thorn, of a Dominican AF (AMD = Aviacion Militar Dominicana = Dominican Military Aviation) P-47. It was shot around 1954 in San Isidro.
The color scheme makes it, IMHO, one of the most attractive P-47s ever.
Saludos,
Tulio
Almost forgot to add, that I scanned this photo from the book "Republic P-47 Thunderbolt - The Final Chapter - Latin American Air Force Service" by Dan Hagedorn (ISBN 0-9625860-1-3)

I agree with the checkerboard look so I will vote for the 78th FG jug "Eileen" for consideration

Very nice Jack. Great background in that shot too. Don't be shy, keep 'em coming.
FG1D pilot, how is the rebuild coming?

Jack, I have a copy of the picture of Perdomo and the other guy, who is the test pilot from Republic. On Perdomo's print it gives his name " ...as he congradulates me. He died the next day in a crash" I can't find the print right now to get the name. It also has the words "Chief Executioners" written over the guns. We painted that over the guns on the CAF guns.

Jack, I did see the thread, but couldn't find it again. When I took the P47 to the 507th reunion, there were several pictures of the crash of Joe Parker, as I'm sure everyone had their camera ready.
