This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Hi.... My name is Mike... and... well... I am a WIX addict.
I keep a Explorer window to WIX open all day, and I hit the refresh button about once an hour. I desgin and write software, so a brief distraction from a difficult problem often helps me break the log jam preventing me from making progress.
Yes I am addict. I have no intention of seeking treatment.
Regards,
Mike

I would say that on average, I visit the forum around 4 times a day while at work and waiting for things to happen(like now), and twice in the evenings.

First thing each morning, last thing each night...
Way too much during the day.
I'm going to Mexico for a week in November, any longer away from the WIX, the withdrawl symptoms get too severe...

Hi all--
Well, work's the only place I'm regularly online (no computer at home yet); nevertheless I actually have WIX bookmarked on this terminal, and try to check at least once a day for my News Fix...

I'm like Mike, I tend to keep an explorer window open whenever I'm online and not gaming and refresh periodically to see who's on. It has become way more of an addiction than the old format of the forum. What have I done?????

I wake up
I log on
I go to bed at night
Only problem I see is all the time I'm spending sleeping when I could be on-line.
As I remind my spouse, she could've wound up with a drug addict or a wife beater. Instead she married a warbird junkie. I think her only major regret is that the kids are becoming big-iron, round-engine disciples too.

I pull up the WIX every night before bed. Puts bed time alot later than it should be, you know, but, it's like I just have to look...................

At my desk, with a fast computer and connection, anything between twice a day and once an hour, depending on my workload. On a really busy day, at least once. On vacation, with dial-up, rarely.

Every chance I get. At work and at home. When I come home I check e-mail first then WIX. When I go on vacation like I did a few weeks ago it almost killed me to be out of touch and not know what is going on. It was all I could do to resist the Bell Internet service in the lobby. What did we ever do before the internet and WIX. I think I had more time to watch movies with my wife
Can any of us ever get enough warbird information? I kow there are a lot of lurkers out there that can provide us with even more info. Please post what is happening in your area, restorations, airshows, gateguards....anything.

I guess an averaqe of twice a day, once in mid morning, and again late in the evening. Even tho I am retired from everyday work, I do still have a "life."

I'd say three to four times per evening during the week, and more on the weekends, if there isn't an air show or fly-in going on somewhere within a three hour drive. I try not to check it just before bedtime, because, like Rob, it can get quite drawn out before I hit the sack
