The above museum is actually in Lexington. The Aviation Museum of Kentucky: http://www.aviationky.org/. No WWII bombers at the museum but they do have an Blue Angels A4 Skyhawk, F4 Phantom, Thunderbird T-38, Waco, Crowsley Moonbeam, Kiowa Helicopter and more.

The Aircraft Industries Museum, Louisville, KY is listed as closed on this site http://classicairliners.tripod.com/museums.html. The museum was open in the early 70s.
