P47 Raid Hot Mama, 510th FS, 405th FG 9th AF details needed

G'day folks,

I'm part way through painting the noseart of this machine on an A2 for a mate. I have a period photo of the work found here, (along with the identical photo and a modern reproduction courtesy of Bombergirl.com below)

For me, the modern reproduction (as good as it is) varies in colour and other small details, and I'd like to finish it closer to the original.

and was wondering whether anyone had more details or pictures. I'd like to try and find more details to ensure that my mate's A2 art is as close as possible.

Here is another shot, giving the aeroplane details;

I'm also looking to find details of the 510th FS and/or the 405th FG badges to reproduce on the front of the jacket, if at all possible.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers,
Matt
