Very nice photos thanks for sharing. Check out the clam shell doors!(in photo #2) Either he just put the gear down and they have not closed or something got outta sequence or broke? I just bought Herky Greens book: "The memoirs of a checkertail ace" over the holidays but have not sat down and gone thru it yet. Will I see these in the book? Thanks.

I would say #2 pic is on final with reduced power and just put the gear down and about to close the doors....... But what do I know, I drive one of them "Smokin Diesel" machines

I concur.... and I'd say the main landing gear isn't in the locked down position yet... it's still slightly angled inwards......
