I was wondering if anybody knows who owned the Corsair that was painted as Boyington's "86" back in 1975?
It attended the Pratt & Whitney 50th Anniversary air display in September of 1975, but I don't have an N-number for it.
I've always been interested in who owned it at that time, and where it is now.

Yep....probly.....I was thinking CAF's 9964Z but it was painted up as his old #883, not #86, sometime back before its major overhaul with Vought in the late 70's...

I think you guys are right. It looks like it may be the Kalamazoo bird. I've gotta pull out my old pics to make sure.
