Pen and Ink Drawing (Strafing Run)

Thu Jan 03, 2008 2:00 pm

Here's the latest doodle...this one was harder than it looked! I learned a lot about trains...

It's an A-26 Invader doing what they do best. I thought about adding camo to the train, but I'm not sure it needs it. (Too late for it, anyway, LOL)

Enjoy!

Thanks, guys. It only took a few hours to draw, but I spent as many hours planning and researching it. The composition was kind've tricky to make work. Drawing in ink is a lot like flying...you have to do a lot of careful preflight so that once you are in the air, you can act decisively without getting behind the plane...or, in this case, the pen.

Like flying, there are no second chances.
