Looking back at 2007

Sat Dec 29, 2007 10:25 pm

Despite having major surgery in April I had a full summer of airshows and flying fun.

I had barely recovered for this opportunity in Toronto harbour. Viking Air’s new-build Turbo Beaver performs for the press on May 25th for the Toronto Aerospace Museum’s 60th Anniversary of the Beaver.

Not a vintage aircraft but I could not help but include a shot of the CAF Skyhawks jumping over VwoC’s September open-house.

In September I lost my good friend Stan Miller. We had spent many hours barnstorming together over the years and it was a great loss.

A dedication to Stan http://www.airic.ca/html/stanmiller.html

I can’t wait to get the 2008 airshow season going. A big thanks to everyone who helped me capture these images.

Cheers,

Eric

Eric,

Really enjoyed those pictures, glad your surgery didn't keep you out of action. The L-16 and Canuck were propably my two favorites. Hope to see you at Thunder in 2008?

One of my goals for 2008 is to get my Skyraider or Yale within lens range of you at an airshow. Your pics are awesome, as usual.

Eric, That is the best compliment you could give me. I hope we can do it as I have yet to see a Skyraider or Yale through my lens . All the best for 2008.

Cheers,

Eric
