Its located at the Alaska Aviation museum in Anchorage they havent done much to it

I have tried to help with parts some years ago but ,they want everything for free or there abouts.Sorry, cant do that.The bird needs so many parts that are not a breeze to manufacture.Could be why not much has been done.

it would be nice to see this bird restored. I just don't get if you recover an aircraft why you don't plan on doing anything with it?

My cousin lives in Anchorage and am pretty sure he's been to that museum. But he never mensioned anything about that P-40.

they will probably melt it down into beer cans as it is no longer a historic treasure cause it was moved from its original spot.
