What the Hell's up with Hell?

Tue Dec 18, 2007 4:33 pm

I posted a heart warming post and it had a hell in it and even re-editing it didn't change it.

Then I noticed a post about Hell's angel where it was changed to Heck's angel and I thought to myself, "what the hell is going on around here?"

What the hell is one supposed to do to maintain the artistic integrity of a post in this hell hole anyway?

Hell, you should try and spell porrnn on this forum. Hang on, I forgot that there's a trick to this. P.O.R.N. There, that did it. So next time try this....

Yesterday I had a H.E.L.L. of a good time watching an aviation themed P.O.R.N. video.

I wonder how the H.E.L.L. long my WIX suspension will be?

*sorry Scott, just having a little bit of fun with Big Brother.

Don't worry your covered by the first amendment. Let there be freedom of speech.

SCRANTON, Pa. - A woman who was cited for loudly cursing at her overflowing toilet — and then at a neighbor who told her to quiet down — has been acquitted on First Amendment grounds.

District Judge Terrence Gallagher dismissed the disorderly conduct charge against Dawn Herb, 33, ruling Thursday that she was within her rights when she let loose a string of profanities Oct. 11.

Although the language she used "may be considered by some to be offensive, vulgar and imprudent ... (it is) protected speech pursuant to the First Amendment," the judge wrote.

Politics?

Democrat.....Republican.....Liberal.......Conservative
Hillary Clinton......
Hmmm.....so the forum's automatic naughty word corrector does not respond to those words even though they are banned?

I found some pr0n in the heck hole of a T-6, but maybe that should be an entry “Weird stuff found during mtc.” thread…

radar on mash spelled it "he double toothpicks" i think the naughty word filter is ok, but should be eased up a bit, especially with any word that appears on tv, radio, print matter, right down to the bible in regular fashion. if it's good enough for those venues, it should be good enough for every 1 else. heck, hhaha...... the movie censors even relented when clark gable didn't give a d*mn back in 39, that should have set the precident. a pretty lame standard in my opinion, myself...... but scott's the boss, & he has to be diplomatic. :hide:

heck hole

I understand the need to keep things ok for the kids who might peruse the board.

But; I take a little umbrage that you can not use the "heck word" in its non-inflamatory meaning.

Such as when refering to the very famous 303rd BG B-17 . In this case I think it is somewhat insulting to the flight and ground crews that named that aircraft. Akin to parents naming a child one name, like Charles, and then having everyone else call it "Pattycake" or some such.

Or to refering to the hole on the bottom of a Huey. Ask any Huey guy the name that is used, even in the TMs for that access point.

Just my two cents.

Joe
