gathering of early era Warbirds

Mon Dec 17, 2007 8:08 pm

I would love to see a gathering of as many early era painted warbirds, only the aircraft that either are or are painted with the star and meatball in the center. Could you name a few?

1. Glacier Girl P-38
2. TFC P-40B
3. CAF B-24A
4. a couple P-40's
5. a couple F4F's
6. B-25 in Doolittle scheme

what esle?

All flying in formation would be cool

Don't forget the F3Fs, P-26, B-23 and maybe someday an early P-39? Not to mention any number of trainers and cargo planes.

Might I humbly suggest including J2F...the examples of Weeks and Greenhill come to mind.
