Pima (Tallichet) O-52 "Owl" nearly finished

Just wondering, how many O-52's are there out there? I remember the EAA museum had one for about 20 years as did POF. THere was another for sale in Trade A Plane, plus Tallichet's. Anyone know if there are any flyers?

Pima's done a nice job.

There's something intriguing about that high wing and Grumman-esque landing gear, not to mention the cool chugga-chugga round sound. The only thing better would be getting some air under her wings.

Yanks has a flyable one and apparently the Muszulas have or had one. Don't recall POF having one but I could be wrong.

Five I know of:

1. Yanks
2. Pima
3. USAFM
4. ex-Soplata airframe
5. airframe recovered from a crash site
(4 and 5 are with a midwest based owner)

I thought that either Tallichet or Yanks had two at one time. Maybe one of the Tallichet airframes went to Yanks?

The one at Yanks used to belong to Tallichet. He sold it or traded it to them a long time ago.
