Unidentified American Engine Wreckage (R-2800 Engine) on Yap

I'm wondering if anyone can take a look at the engine wreckage pictures at the following link and let me know your thoughts regarding the type of aircraft it is from. Although we found numerous casting numbers on the engine wreckage, I'm assuming the numbers are too generic to help identify the type of aircraft.

I think this could be off the top secret rarely photographed FU-2 Did you find any exhast pieces or more of the engine mount? I would guess F6F

Hey Mike. All we found at this site was the engine. We looked for other wreckage but it was towards the end of our last trip and could not find the rest of the plane. We'll be looking for it next year (as you know). I'm assuming this is a Corsair site but more info is needed. The generic casting numbers can't help at all?

This site is close to the location that a Helldiver went down but I believe the engine is R-2800 therefore, it rules out the Helldiver.

Don't you have some work to get done on your Helldiver?

I checked my FG-1D parts book thinking the S-51280-64 might be a VS-51280-64 with the V either etched away or not stamped well. No part listed. Nothing even close. You didn't mention if the part number was on the engine, exhaust or baffling etc. Do you know?
37743 and 204966 don't show up either. Need more clues!

I grabbed by notebook I used on Yap last year and here’s the information I wrote down about the numbers and letters located on the engine while at the wreck site:

37743-130 or 37743-180
S51280-64 (with a 22A in a circle near it)
ALCOA
42424C (with a 167 in a circle near it)

49914-229B
ALCOA2

204966

14366

On the right and left sides were the number and wording:

200 EX CLOSED
200 IN OPEN

Two rows of nine cylinders each
