Cavanaugh Warbirds on new Google Maps - Street View!

An F-105 at Addison?!

Cool new stuff from Google Maps called "Street View" A few select portions of the US mapped with a rolling camera. Look for areas highlighted in blue for the pictures. (I started browsing this from Arlington, TX so that is why it says that on the page)

Yep, it's a 2-seat "F" model, and it was still there two weekends ago when I looked. Interestingly, one of our VFM members took a ride in the back seat of this particular ship when it was in service with the Texas ANG! 8)

Cheers!

Looks to be mostly there. The engine is out of it, and I'm not sure what, if anything, has been cut. I'll be there Sat, and I'll see if I can get some detail shots for you.
