That is how I will always remember the Collings B-25. That is what it looked like when it sat out at BVI for years.

What is this? When was it built and where is it now? Oh, and are those gear retractable? They sorta look like it, but it looks like an awkward set up.
Cheers,
David
P.S. It's great to see all these old pictures of yours. Thank you for posting them.

It's a Grumman AF2S Guardian, I think Jimmy Leeward owned it, Florida?, yes, gear is retractable.
I've always been a big fan of the Guardian, hope to see one flying again.

Great pics, keep 'em coming!
It looks like the "Rockwell International" on the side of "Old Yeller" has been covered over, or possibly painted out. What's the story on that?
Is that Catalina the same one that sank after being forced down in the south Pacific on its way to Oz in the early '90s?
Man, I miss those "Cat Flights!"

Those Collings B-25 pics are priceless... I'd love to know who wrote that on the cowling after it happened. With talk of warranty, I have a few guesses.

The photo of Grumman 'Cat' formation is from 1986. I know its from '86 for two reasons: 1. I was there in '86. 2. I have nearly the same photo.
I think the photo of the Guardian is also from '86 as I remember that aircraft and wondering what the heck it was.
