Future of Warbirds in 2071?

Mon Dec 10, 2007 2:41 am

Being part of the younger generation I've found some interesting stuff, pertaining to Warbirds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3Fejbd5 ... re=related

Wait till 6:32. Its pretty funny. Well I think. But here's something that y'all might like. How many types can you name? And if you got 10 to 15 mins to spend on a really well done animated film, I’d say watch this. Watch part 11 for a few other sequenses.

The movie was done after the very successful series.

For many of my friends, who despise anime, this show is the exception.

Some of you may know them as "Those funny looking Japanese Cartoons", which is basically right, and plenty of younger kids in America have adopted this cultural facet, and yes I have sort of dabbled in the Anime arena, but not much. This is more than just Pokemon now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime

Since the days of middle and high school have passed, I’ve lost interest in the style, but I'm still interested in it now and again. Especially the other shows that pertain to aircraft.

Let me know what you think!

Cowboy BeeBop was the best anime ever made. I have all of the series, the Favorite four, and the movie. I love that show.

The warbird sequence in the movie was cool. Another Warbird kind of one was an episode called Wild Horses. Spike takes his plane back to the guy who built it. The guys place has warbirds all over the place and he restoring a space shuttle to fly. Pretty cool episode, h3ll, all of them were cool.

All of the flying sequences are awesome. I was watching an interview with the director, and he said they did it differently from normal. Something about trailing off center and shaking cameras. I don't remember it exactly, but the flying looks awesome.

Quentin Tarantino got the main dude from CowBoy BeeBop to help him do Kill Bill.

I never like anime until recently. The ones I seem to like were shown years ago, but I am just finding out about them now.

Tenchi Muyo
Van Dred
Cromartie High School
Colorful
Inuyasha
Read or Die

There's tons of them....

Area 88 is a good one for aircraft. My personal taste in anime tends to be the Robotech/Star Blazers era. Though I like Appleseed and Bubblegum Crisis as well.
