many a pilot and plane has met their fate doing just that sort of thing. Thank god I was a NAVY pilot. land on a ship at night in a snow storm and you never have to do anything silly in a plane ever again! :D

That was a lot more polite than what I was thinking.
Is this a form of Jacka$$ – doing stupid things for the sake of posting the video on YouTube? It looks real good in the newspaper when the write up the accident too. Way to promote aviation.
(I guess I didn't resist after all)

The involved pilot has some 9000+ flight hours as a taildrag instructor.
He knows what he is doing.

Looks sedate enough to me. Not sure what all the head-shaking is about? The tails on these aircraft are up at about 25 mph. Point into a 10 knot wind and the tail is pretty much up at anything more 5-10mph.

I've seen a similar thing done with a T-6...

I'm glad to hear

It's good to hear he's an experienced pilot. All those 9000 hours are sure to get him a discount when the prop strike occurs...
