looking for info on brigadier general robert j. holbury, ww 2, korea, nam era pilot & top general in many past u.s. air force programs. i've seen the usual google dribble...... i'm looking for more indepth. he passed 8/18/05 any help is appreciated.

well, i kind of guessed i would draw a blank on the 1st initial post of this thread, so i thought i would elaborate a little more, & maybe some info will come to light. brigadier general robert j. holbury flew 76 combat missions in ww2 in p-51's & photo recon f-5 (p-38 lightning) he was heavily involved in aerial recon after the war through the 50's. he later was the commander of the area 51 base at groom lake, with the cia starting in late 1961. flew the sr 71. while in vietnam he flew 11 types of aircraft in 149 combat missions retired 1972. any additional info would be appreciated.
