So Gary, did you take that "move up the ladder" that was open? I got a phone call about it, but that's too much for me. Good luck buddy, I think you will do well. :drink3:
Best Regards as always
Robbie :D

Well, once again I am a BOZO  after I posted the previous, I looked at the B-24 thread. Gary, I do not know of a more qualified or more responsible person for that DOM/QC position. I have been in the QC end of the deal for 20+ years. Any advice I could ever give feel free to ask.
Robbie :)

Thanks Robbie. Will do.

You know, you could come down here and interview for the Crew Chief position. :)

Sooooooooo,

does this job include a paycheck?

or is it like most others where the main benny is "the experience".

Now I really enjoy working on warbirds, and would love to do it full time, but I have yet to figure out how to pay my bills with "experience".

If anyone IS actually making a living working on warbirds, I'd appreciate your input. :) :) :)

The B-29/B-24 Crew Chief position IS a paid position. It is the only paid mechanic's position on the CAF payroll. You are paid a salary, the amount of which I will not get into here. If you're interested, give me a shout (via e-mail) and I'll get you in touch with the proper 'important people." :D
