My wife and I stopped in on the Tennessee Museum of Aviation yesterday. Its very nicely laid out, good lighting in the hangar, lots of flying warbirds in the collection. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

That P-51 must be fairly new... I was there maybe two years ago, and I don't recall it.... I might be wrong though.

P51 is definately a replica. I've been there a few times this year

I was thinking it was a replica as well. They did a nice job with it, though, it has rivet marks in the wings. I don't recall seeing the landing gear doors from underneath, either.

Museum volunteers mostly built it from scratch. A friend of mine that lives near Knoxville is one of the volunteers. It was a several year effort.
