drop tanks, yes, but interesting question....... did the usaaf use napalm in the latter stages of the war in europe?? i've seen no evidence or documentation, but i could be wrong. however, the betting guy that i am, i'd say no napalm was used in europe.

Yes, they use it. i read memories of one RAF officer detached into the US unit and he stated that that kind of bombs used in Europe. As he state they was not much effective.

In "Ace of the Eighth", Bud Fortier tells how he used cups of napalm obtained from his crew chief to start the fire in their stove. And how they almost burned the hut down.

interesting, i would presume napalm would not be affective with multiple structures, urban areas, as in europe. as to hedge rows, foliage, etc i would think they would be quite affective. think of late ww2 to korea to vietnam combat footage all jungle, open & boonie related. quite affective. what is the difference aside from natural terrain??
