Long Lost Rich Odgers' F-82s?

I was going through some of my old magazines and i picked up my Mar/Apr 1993 issue of Warbirds International. In it on pg. 33 is a article written by Mr Odgers about his 4 year quest to recover lots of F-82 assemblies from a smelter. Now it didn't mention where any of this took place other than that the EPA shut the place down as a superfund site causing the 4 year delay. But in the end with bueracratic help Mr Odgers made several Multiple truck and trailer load trips back to his home. Some of the Ser no. he mentions are 46-386 (which the tail section of this bird is shown in a picture in this article) but also 46-393, 46382, 46-395 and 46-391.
Sounds as if he got atleast one complete airframe out with lots of other major assemblies or he might have gotten multiple airframes out.
There is no mention of any of these Ser No. in the registry including the the F-82 photographed in the article.
Anybody here know more about these F-82s and Mr. Odgers?

It ended up at C and P aviation Anoka County airport, It was by no means a complete airframe mostly bits and chunks all massaged by a D-8 cat 
They had scrapped several P-82s so it was very much crunched up chunks.

Sorry maybe complete was not an accurate word to use. But the article made seem like he got enough parts to make a complete aircraft or more.
What are C and P's plans?

C&P are actively restoring the former Walter Soplata F-82E 46-256. I would suppose that these components would be used in that restoration, as and where necessary.

doesn't Walter also have single F-82 fuselage that might also benefit from these parts towards becoming a "complete" aircraft?

Yes he has one fuselage from an XP-82 44-83887. It would take a lot to get this birg whole again, but it's feasible if someone has the money and the desire. I hope it happens one day.

F-82s ever offered surplus?

It seems I remember reading years ago that there was an offering of surplus F-82s in Alaska at one point, sealed bid, but no one bought at least to fly. Any truth to that old rumor? If so when?
Were all U.S. ANG P-51's offered out of McClellan or did some go on the block at their local cities? Another rumor heard around Boise for years was that the Idaho ANG P-51s were available surplus for a short while in Boise after their use at Gowen Field.
One mystery P-51 still is said to be in a Boise resident's garage (where it has been forgotten by most researchers for many years) though maybe not from that sale.
