Are these two Mustangs in the Registry ? I can not seem to find them using their serials.
Any help would be appreciated.

Double Trouble Two with Jerry Yagen's Fighter Factory.
The RAF Museum example is apparently built up from parts of 44-73415 now known as the Reno racer Voodoo. The aircraft was heavily modified, and many original mustang parts were removed. This is the report on Mustangs-Mustangs, but I seem to remember seeing this mustang at Hendon before Voodoo came into being. Can anyone advise differently? SwissMustangs???

Len, Double Trouble Two was once based in Switzerland for quite a number of years.
The P-51 in the RAF Museum is made up of a number of airframes, bit of a heinz 57

It does appear that when Speer bought the wreck of N6526D he transferred the id to the a/c that became "Pegasus" later "Voodoo". He then used the wreck of the original N6526D as a basis for the Hendon static. "Pegasus" flew in 1988 while the Hendon 51 arrived in 1989. Speer was not very into the history of the individual a/c he built. An id was just another step in the process of getting an a/c flying. When I visited him in 92 and jokingly asked how much of his then project was N51MP he took us around the plane, pointed to the access door for the tail wheel and said, "there's the original part", then shrugged his shoulder.
