P-40B or C Question

Does anyone know what color the main gear wells were painted on an early P-40? Looking at pictures, it looks like they were the same color as the bottom of the aircraft...can anyone confirm?

Hello, the wheel wells are the same color as the underside of the wing. From planes that have been recovered over the years they were the same.
