I know you like to carry a bunch of stuff under the wings of your AD-5.
But this is a whole different kettle of fish.................

not very politically correct to refer to those young ladies as "fish"

You know, you hardly ever see any Skyraider wing walking acts.....

Not Photoshop......Believe it or not there was a time when computers didn't exist. :badpc: I know hard to believe.

That movie still depicts a classic rear projection special effect. The plane is quite grounded on a soundstage. Notice the landing gear is a little fuzzy. Had to edit out the floor or scaffold that is supporting the plane. Quite an advanced special effect for the time.

The girl second from the left isn't getting good arm extention

That's most likely a publicity photo or a still capture from the 1933 film Flying Down to Rio.

Well Eric, if you want, we could try a Skyraider wing walking act. I've got some past experience in that field.

Sorry for the out of focus pictures.......

PS Yes, I know this stunt of mine (done many years ago) was incredibly stupid and that I should not have been wearing a parachute (perhaps just a lanyard would've been better), as they have a tendency to deploy inadvertantly, which will subsequently drag you through the tail. I found out about a crop duster in Arkansas that had that very thing happen to him after I did my own wing walking. I do not recommend anyone being as stupid as I was (or am). :)

???????

I guess there's more than a few youngsters here who've never know
life without a computer. Ah the good old days 8-tracks, B&W TV with
only 4 stations because there's NO cable and no such thing has a happy meal. Burgers at the drive in were 19 cents larger than a quarter.

And we had a load of rotten fish dumped on our heads every moring, and then we walked to shcool for a mile through six feet of snow, and when we got home we warmed up by running down a mine shaft to collect the coal for the stove... :P
