Aircraft help needed - jets and props for a Korean movie

Ok - im seeking some information with people who own Korean war era warbirds.

I am hearing there is a potential remake of the famous movie "The Hunters" in production long term lead maybe to be happening in the USA. It maybe be a short film or it maybe be bigger scale not sure yet.

What i like to know is how many flying F-86 Sabres in the USA could be grouped up along with any other Korean era warbird props or jets?

I have been approached for some technical assistance but i am feeling if there is a actual need for the movie to proceed past the idea stage, to get in maybe some real metal for the flying scences and not use CGI stuff which is now so common.

Can anyone help?

If you want a Korean era prop warplane for a movie, what could be better than Ed Downing's Skyraider? He's got enough ordianance on it to simulate a pretty good war. Matter of fact, I wouldn't stand under it as he flys by. He is also a combat pilot. Maybe it was the Pina Colada War, but the other guys were using real bullets. And if you need a leading man to portray a Korean AD pilot, someone young, dashing, tall, dark, and handsome-----well then I am sure I could learn to fly a Skyraider in time.

Couple of Skyraiders in the Los Angeles area and Yanks also has a flyable F-86 (at least it has flown in the last year or so).

Call Mark Foster (909/597-0802) at Planes of Fame and he can organize the entire thing. They do movie stuff all the time and can right size something to fit your needs.

What does repaint jobs cost if we wanted to get authentic scheme on the warbird for a movie?

What ratings do jet or props pilots have for aerial dog fight skills nwodays?
