What kind of heritage flight is this?

Very nice to see this kind of formation but the choice of aircraft seems a bit odd....

Is this Howard or someone else doing the flying?

The way we were told is that any two Legacy qualified pilots at an airshow can put together a Legacy Flight. The Navy is more informal about this than the USAF. I'll bet the Hornet pilot is glad that Howard is in the Sea Fury instead his Wildcat !

Normally, I think Howard would be flying his Bearcat or Wildcat, but the Bearcat has been going through an engine change and the Wildcat can be really a handful when there are direct crosswinds so he may have elelcted to use his Sea Fury to honor the Legacy Flight.

I know he planned on bringing his Sea Fury to Sheppard AFB for the Legacy Flight due to the predicted winds on that Saturday but he had a minor problem with it and brought the Wildact anyway.
