I believe that was Robert Johnson's P-47 with the "close call".

In the formation shot, Frank Klibbe's A/C is the second from the top HV*S, Little Chief/Anderson Indian. Hey Jack, do you have any other shots of Klibbe's P-47, either HV*S or HV*V? Thanks for posting the great shots!

I have a few more shots packed that Paul Conger sent me years ago inc a good close up of the Hi Hatter and some air-to-air shots plus a P-63 he crashed. I have some more 62nd & 63rd shots but they're also packed. I'll look through my photobucket accounts and see if they're anymore.
I know I have more shots of Wally Groce, Jack Haek and Lewis Brown all from OR.
