As I recall from a wreck locater and other sources, there were reported two A-36 Apaches lost somewhere in the Fenner Hills, of California...which is to the N-NE of Goffs Jct , on I-40...West of Needles.
Many times I have hiked the surrounding area looking for these two birds, and also a Howard DGA nearby, with no success...although I did find the remains of a Cessna 172 (cr 12/69) and a Piper Cherokee...Anybody know if the A-36s have been found? Also reported the tail sections of 2 B-26 Invaders to the North of I-15 ....West of Baker??? Also a PBY reported Old Woman Mtn. NW of Ludlow...any info appreciated!
